Post by gissmo50 » Sun Oct 17, 2010 6:21 pm

Guys im looking for a set of 33bhp restrictors for an 24 (must be the only one putting them in) gf is doinf the 33bhp test as shes petite and although she could handle the 500cc test bike power wise its sher weight means she cant walk or put them on the center stand, so if any one has a set knocking around they have no use for and wat 30ish quid for them outa the way pm me cheers guys

Just a thought, has she ridden, and / or moved the NC24...

Most of the 500's that trainingcentres seem to have these days are the ER-500 kawasakis, which weigh almost the same as the NC24...

yeah she has moved it about but when ever she uses the 24 i would be with her the problem with the er-5 is that it has a centerstand and as such she has to be able to put it onto it to pass part of the test as you know the 24 does not, she couldnt put my gpz500 on its center stand when i had it and they are almost identical bikes she would be able to do the test on a 125 and the vfr has such a low seat height that the weight isnt a problem in traffic and slow speed as she can flat it with both feet, it is her decision to have the bike at 33bhp although she really doesnt want to..

It doesn't have to have a centre stand ;)

ian your a diamond thanks again, no it doesnt have to but the test requires that you can put the bike onto the stand should the bike you doing your test on have one and as she will be using the same traning place i did then i know that the 500 will have one but have restrictors now thanks to ian so its not a problem
