Re: NC29 wheel bearings
6004 should be the correct size but surely it wont be loose to fit them.does anyone know *IF* the front and rear wheel bearings are the same diameter/size etc?
are you sure the size is written on the bearing itself ?

Re: NC29 wheel bearings
loose to fit them?
sorry lost me on that one.
6004 is stamped in to the side of the "sealed" part of the bearings.
dug out my microfiche and checked the part numbers/qty. yes they are the same.

Re: NC29 wheel bearings
Ensure you buy DDU or 2RS bearings i.e. double sealed - other wise any debris inside the wheel will quickly kill a single sealed bearing - save £2 waste a load.

Re: NC29 wheel bearings
yep they are double sealed.
rear bearings now in. will do the fronts when i get the wheel off next time round.
BTW.. whacking your thumb with a mallet when the drift slips off the bearing edge HURTS LIKE HELL!...
