Got some dunlop qualifyers on at the moment and don't get me wrong, they grip just fine. It's just I've done about 800 miles on them and they are nearly fucked already. Worst thing is I bought them at the end of last month
Someone told me to get some michelin polot roads (dual compund) as they will last alot longer.
Will these grip anywhere near as much or is there a tyre that will last a bit longer and grip as good.

090 is just outright grip whereas the 092 last a little longer with a little trade off of grip from what ive heard. Try a search on the site (not just cbr section,) just type in 090 as theres been a lot of discussion on this recently

090 F, 092 R is the common combo for our bikes.
where you loose a bit of grip on the rear, you gain it on the front. you need more grip at the front than rear or you will loose the front in corners.
HOWEVER... good luck in sourcing 090 or 092s! there seems to be a massive shortage. GF is having trouble getting them, my bike shop could not get anything. when i did find a 092 rear last month the price went UP £10ish in one week!
i am now thinking about finding a good alternative to 090/092s as i had trouble finding them last year.

Ive got a mate who gets 10k miles out of a set of Michelin 2CTs. Thats on a ZX9R.
Its all in the riding. If you are smooth, Keep the power on through the corner, Then they will last and wear nicely.
If you are a straight line hero and slam on the brakes into every corner, You will be lucky to get 1000 miles.
When I first started riding I fucked a set of BT090s in about a month.
Then I fitted some softer compound Pirelli Diablo's,And I got about 5k miles out of them! just because I adapted my riding style.
