Planning on getting one of Rick Olivers fork upgrade kits at the end of the month, my bike is fitted with the earlier type forks (although it should have the later type on!)
Is it worth me changing to later type forks before I do the upgrade??

Re: NC30 Front Forks upgrade
you could ask rick for spacers to suit the later type as well if you intend changing to the cartridge style forks at a later date i did that .springs are the same for both types its just the spring spacer length and oil level/air gap that differs , ricks kit is the best upgrade you can do to your bike for the money comes with clear instructions and measuring tool for accurate oil levels in both legs

I'll leave the original forks on then and just get the kit from rick, can't find any later forks for sale anywhere anyway! Cheers guys.

Can you explain why? It's something I've been thinking about, but wasn't sure.davethetrucker wrote:you could ask rick for spacers to suit the later type as well if you intend changing to the cartridge style forks at a later date i did that .springs are the same for both types its just the spring spacer length and oil level/air gap that differs , ricks kit is the best upgrade you can do to your bike for the money comes with clear instructions and measuring tool for accurate oil levels in both legs
