Has anyone on here bought stuff from yahoo japan?

Post by skinnydog0_0 » Thu Jun 24, 2010 10:24 pm

As in the title, has anyone on here ever bought anything from Yahoo Japan?
If yes, how do you do it and are there any pitfalls?
Cheers

I use japamart.com, they bid on your behalf but you can do it in real time so handy. They then ship it on to you. Used then many times and never had any problems, very reliable. Can work out expensive though

I use shoppingmalljapan.com

I've brought plenty and they always come up with the goods. The only pitfall is that things that seem cheap quickly become quite pricey by the time you factor in seller shipping fees, deputy fees, deputy shipping & packing fees, currency conversion rates..... the list goes on.

Stay away from Okshon at all costs. I had plenty of trouble with them and so have many others.

you can use a 'deputy' service to buy goods for you but beware of the prices.. most charge comission on each item brought and a final fee along with local and international shipping costs.

I used to buy directly from yahoo japan, but that was back when I lived there. Not much help now tho. Sorry.
