handling questions? please help

Post by geo_89 » Tue Jun 15, 2010 5:04 pm

hi, own a cbr nc23 and i dont know if its just me but the handling seems weird. the front end seems to dip in. maybe its because im comparing it to my old vfr and that seemed to handle much better. or maybe its the tires which i really dont like.

has anyone got any tips that may make the handling better or something i can do cheap to make it feel a better ride?

hope i get some suggestions from you experts out there.

thanks

Geo

Maybe the front tire is different? I used to ride Honda CBR 600 while on holidays on two different sets of tires, difference was huge speciially when cornering u had to be carefull as rear just skidded. So I guess that could be the problem

Motorcycle performance is mostly due to the size of your balls at the end of the day... ;)

Im not going to suggest an illegal streetrace between you two, but it would be less embarrasing than hitting each other with your handbags.... ;) lol

had the new tyres fitted this afternoon. would definitely recommend the bt-016's. first time of having them and even running them in they stick like hell. seem to have fixed all my handling worries as it now corners brilliantly :)

would still like to jack the rear up though lol
