I think I'll be needing a new regulator/rectifier for my cbr as the battery is running down frequently (new battery last year)
They can be expensive, but then I found this one on ebay

A mate of mine bought a cbr6 that has the same voltage regulator. on the way home from buying it, the regulator blew. I leant him my new spare and he replaced it with an ebay one. A while later, mine blew so i put the one he had got onto my bike. It didnt last long.
I know the ebay ones are cheaper but its a bit of a lottery. i would say get a new one rather than an ebay 'bargain' Then again, it may be ok, if its cheap enough that you can throw the money away if its rubbish then go for it.
