wouldnt it be best to use both top and bottom .
also what about some on the forks .
i also would like to put some bobbins on the swing arm for the paddock stand how would one go about fitting them becouse there is no holes for them

Top AND bottom, that might be overkill, but then when it comes to bike protection overkill might not be a bad thing. I think you'll have to drill and tap the swingarm to get bobbins in. You can get spindle sliders but I don't know if any fit the 23.
