Well the wheels are off the bike to fit some new tyres shortly and im currently cleaning the swingarm as its filthy...

problem is as its all greased gunk/brake dust and general road crap i cant shift it!

anyone any ideas on a good solution to help shift this god awful mess?

hate cleaning the thing after even a couple of rides over winter but most of its done and this is one of my last jobs which, really, needs doing.

cheers for ya help guys, always appreciated :)

Have you tried some good old engine degreaser? This should at least help break the grease so it will be easier to clean/wipe.

A soft metal cleaning brush and loads of gunk cleaner should do the trick, Parafin is also good for cleaning.
