NC35 in the news.

A place to bang on about subjects close to your heart that affect us all as 400cc riders. general banter is rife, however rudeness and abuse seem to be the norm, If a bit wet round the ears best go play elsewhere. Auto pruning of items 31 days and older

In case you hadn't noticed the October issue of Practical Sportsbike features an NC35 on the cover and an article inside. Haven't had a chance to read it yet coz I'm saving it for my hols this weekend in sunny Bridlington-on-Sea 8-)

I shall be purchasing the mag tomorrow, not just for the rvf 400 but because it's the only mag i still buy religiously every month but thanks for the heads up. It's always nice to have a good looking 400 in one of the bike mags

I think that was only part of his FZR. Be nice to see it when it's finished. Lovely looking Bimota in the background.

It's not just Practical Sportsbikes, Fast bikes also have an Rvf on their cover vs a Daytona and gsxr k5

The Fast Bikes £4000 'comparison' test rated the NC35 last. Considering it's by far the oldest technology, with the smallest capacity, that was fairly predictable, especially in a mag where speed and the latest gizmos are considered pretty important. The Practical Sportsbike review was much more favourable. In their opinion the NC35 outclassed a ZX-7R and an R6. I'll stick with the PS version.
If you saw the mag you'll have noticed the editor (Chris Newbigging) is wearing a Shoei with a paint scheme that perfectly matches the RVF. I asked him if this was deliberate but apparently it's coincidental, the design being based on a scheme from a racers helmet, whose name I've forgotten :stupid:
If I ever decide to splash the cash on a personalised helmet design I may do something similar.
