eBay 'specials' and other junk finds

A place to bang on about subjects close to your heart that affect us all as 400cc riders. general banter is rife, however rudeness and abuse seem to be the norm, If a bit wet round the ears best go play elsewhere. Auto pruning of items 31 days and older

I would rebuild that one and have a clean built spare on standby...

10 grand?

fuck I hate the internet at times.

sites like ebay have really ruined a lot of bike prices...

I reckon it went like this.. back in the day proud nc30 owner put his mint uk bike up for 2000 quid knowing its well looked after and rare... chavvy dave who thrashed shit out his aftermarket rattlecan black 30 saw this and thought his must be worth the same so advertised it at 2000 as well seeing as it requires just a bit more effort than breathing to post an ebay ad.

Seeing this hunk of shit at that price other sellers with nicer bikes also put up their bikes.

since its so easy to do and the off chance somebody crazay / unknowledgtable / too much money will buy it prices have been forever ruined on everything.

I've seen stubby manifolds fetch 40 quid yet at the same time you could buy a new one from honda for 25 delieverd!

not enough knowledge and too much shit >.<

Bet some of you will have seen the pair of gold NC35 wheels that have just come up on eBay. We know they're a bit scarce but he reckons they're "ultra rare" and has been told "they are different to the cbr type that look identical". He wants £1025!!! He had them on a week or so back for £800-something, but now he's been told they're "ultra rare" (and probably thinks they're made of gold) so he's bumped up the price. Some people eh?
