Proof of year of manufacture

A place to bang on about subjects close to your heart that affect us all as 400cc riders. general banter is rife, however rudeness and abuse seem to be the norm, If a bit wet round the ears best go play elsewhere. Auto pruning of items 31 days and older

I loathe new bikes from any manufacturer and I'm not a fan of FI either. Too much to go wrong, too much reliance on electronics.

I'm proper old school - carbs only and no ABS/EBD/TC or the other sh!t they stick on bikes these days.

Well it’s ended up in days rather than weeks to arrive.
Certificate shows model, engine no. VIN, day, date, month of build and build factory.
So it can go off to the DVLA and get the record straightened now.

More put of curiosity than any needed reason, has anyone ever turned up when the production of NC30s finished ?

Looked a few times over the years and never found anything concrete, as we know model was always listed 89-92, seen 93 in various opinions, but nothing definitive.

My info from Honda shows mine was built 22 Sep 92, which ties in with all the date pips on the plastics of 9/92.
